At Leading Therapy Home, we deeply value our community partnerships.

A.B.C. Play 

Together with Sing Explore, Create, LLC. we provide a unique and supportive play opportunity for children ages 2.9-5! Facilitated by a speech language pathologist and an occupational therapist from our team and a board-certified music therapist (from Sing Explore Create's team), this group is a 2-hour integrated playgroup in a supportive environment that focuses on healthy child development, play, and making new friends!

Ages: 2.9-5 years
AM Session: Wednesdays, 9:30-11:30am
PM Session: Wednesdays, 12:30-2:30pm

Dates:

School Year: September 11- June 18

Cost: $100 Deposit + $216/month

​

Summer Session: July 10 - August 14
Cost: 2 Payments of $180

Enrollment is ongoing until classes fill.  Monthly tuition will be prorated based on start date. Limited insurance-funded spots may be available for clients of Leading Therapy Home. All other spots are private pay (3rd party funding from scholarship or other community agencies is accepted).

More Information about A.B.C Play!

This weekly drop-off class has a morning or afternoon option. Activities will aim to strengthen speech and communication skills, gross and fine motor movement, as well as social skills in order to build confidence and help children connect with new friends. Each class includes the following activities, designed and facilitated by the MT, SLP, and/or OT.

​

  • Free Play-  transition into the group with a targeted focus on facilitating social play and working on SLP/OT goals in a natural environment. 

  • Music- instrument play, singing, dancing, drumming, and music games that center on goals targeting communication, emotional regulation, and social interaction with their peers. 

  • Snack & Socialize- gain independence in retrieving their snack and learn how to ask for help. The group eats snack together and our SLP facilitates group discussion as well as a story or an interactive game. 

  • Arts & Crafts- fine motor planning and skill building with the OT that includes painting, pre-writing skills, cutting, gluing, sensory play, and more.

  • Movement Games- dancing, parachute play, obstacle courses, gross motor games facilitated by the OT targeting motor planning, balance, jumping, body control, body awareness, and regulation. 

  • Star Time- five minutes reserved at the end to practice mindfulness and deep breathing before seeing our caregivers. 

A.B.C. Play is an integrated program that will benefit all children, including those in need of support in any developmental areas. Support staff, such as ABA therapists, are welcome to assist any child who needs 1:1 support to participate. Leading Therapy Home therapists also offer 30-minute, direct 1:1 therapeutic interventions integrated into the class structure with potential insurance reimbursement on a case-by-case basis. Classes are held at Sing Explore Create, LLC.

Happy Hearts

We are so excited to co-create with Happy Hearts, a Montessori-inspired play space offering little ones ages 6 months through 5 years opportunities to learn through exploration, hand-on activities and collaborative play. They've carefully crafted a nurturing environment with a rich variety of activities to target imaginative play, gross motor and fine motor skill development, all while caregivers can enjoy a relaxing space to connect and unwind. 

 

Leading Therapy Home has a number of opportunities for you to enjoy the beautiful space with the support of one of our therapists. Check back for more offerings or reach out and share your ideas with us!

Playful Pathways:

Sensory and Developmental

Play with a Pediatric OT

Carefully tailored to meet the sensory, vestibular, and proprioceptive needs of your little ones, â€‹Playful Pathways is designed to provide a nurturing environment with reduced stimuli where children can explore and develop their sensory systems through child led, play-based, individualized strategies. Our occupational therapist will support your child’s exploration and play while integrating evidence-based techniques with the Montessori philosophy, fostering independence, confidence, and self-regulation.

Key Features of the Offering:

  • Sensory Integration Activities: Customized activities that help children process and respond to sensory input, promoting emotional balance and improved focus.

  • Vestibular Support: Movement-based exercises and activities, such as swinging, spinning, and balance tasks, designed to enhance spatial awareness and coordination.

  • Proprioceptive Development: Deep-pressure tasks, heavy work, and movement games to build body awareness, strength, and motor planning skills. 

  • Parent Education: Opportunities to connect with and ask the OT all of your questions while your child plays. The therapist will provide guidance and support to empower you to meet your child’s sensory needs at home and in everyday routines.

Little Bites, Big Wins:

Helping Toddlers Overcome Picky Eating

with a Pediatric OT

Join us at Happy Hearts for Little Bites, Big Wins. This interactive class is designed for toddlers and their parents to help prevent and tackle picky eating. Guided by a pediatric OT, the class incorporates fun, hands-on activities to encourage food exploration through play and sensory experiences. Participants will learn techniques to foster healthy relationships with food, create structured yet flexible routines, and address sensory or developmental challenges that may contribute to selective eating.

Co-created and Led by an Occupational Therapist from Leading Therapy Home 

and a Certified Athletic Trainer from Empowering Athletes.
